Shirley Browning and Mike Scolaro coordinated with the overwhelming support from the Wilcox PTA and staff Wilcox Tigers celebrated the Wilcox 11th annual ‘Bring-A-Veteran-To-Lunch Day’. Veteran's Festivities commemorating our veterans began at 8:30am today with the whole school gathered around the flagpole as veterans led us in the "Pledge Allegiance". After that the whole school sang the American traditional, “God Bless America”. The veterans started assembling at 10:30am for the Canteen, followed by the veterans and students having lunch in our “Mess Hall”. It was truly a memorable day! Pictures will be sure to follow.
Cable 9 will air the broadcast of today's festivities beginning tomorrow, November 12, 2014 at 7 pm on “Cable 9 Update". It will air thereafter at noon and seven pm every day until the following Wednesday.
